This month we are working with the Children´s Rights, here some pictures about the right to have a name, the students enjoyed making this little and colorful charts with their names.

El último viernes el salón de kinder koalas hizo una linda presentación en la celebración del Día de la Canción criolla, ellos cantaron la marinera "¡Que Viva Chiclayo!, aqui unas lindas fotos.

Here some of my students telling me what would like them to be when they grow up..., this class was so funny, at the beginning they were a little bit shy, but then, everybody wanted to participated… almost all the girls wanted to be nurses, the boys liked astronauts, but also we had teachers, police women and chef.

LETTERS AND SOUNDS

Hello everybody!
In this class my koalitas were practicing the letters, they love this game, what you have to do here is choose one letter by jumping on it, then you have to say the name of the letter, the sound and finally one word that begins with this letter. Is very easy and is one way to practice the alphabet.

HAPPY CHILDREN´S DAY!

Last week we celebrated Children´s day going to the movie theater together, it was a great day, we had a lot of fun there, This was a new experience for us.
I would like to wish my best to all the children of the world, specially to my 25 little students.

DO WE NEED TO RECYCLE?

We need to increase the amount of rubbish that is being recycled, because we cannot carry on burying and burning rubbish forever. Today's rubbish, compared to other years rubbish, contains more products that don't break down when they are put into the ground. Packaging waste makes up about a quarter of all of the rubbish you put into your bin. Most of this rubbish could be recycled.

There are a number of ways to reduce and recycle rubbish at home and school:
- Find ways of making recycled materials into useful items. Did you know that some jackets are made from recycled plastic bottles?

- Reuse plastic bags, collect bottles taps.

- Buy products which use less packaging.

- Educate people about recycling.

FATHER´S DAY

Father's Day

Mother´s Day!!

This week, my kids have prepared some beautiful presents for their mummys, they enjoyed working together, and also they were really focus on what they were doing. After a lot of work, they deserve some time off, so enjoy it my little koalas!!

Remanso Club

The last week of March, every child in the level of early years enjoyed a nice School trip to the Remanso Club, it all started with group games later we had our delicious lunch boxes, then we participated in contests with their teachers and after much effort... We won!
Finally, each group of children played with their friends... as you can see in their little faces, everybody is happy for this wonderful day!

FIRST DAY OF CLASSES

On our first day of class we were nervous about our new friends, new classroom, the new Miss, etc. But we forgot when we all prepared our classroom pet "Koala", we enjoyed, coloring, cutting and pasting parts of our pet and we all end up happy because finally everyone got their favourite animal: a Happy Koala

Welcome back to school

This week was very special for me; I met my new group of students. I am very happy because they're always smiling; they enjoy their games together and also they all are very anxious to learn. This will be a very good year for us Koalas 2010. Yippee! (= Here some photos.
