HAPPY CHILDREN´S DAY!

Last week we celebrated Children´s day going to the movie theater together, it was a great day, we had a lot of fun there, This was a new experience for us.
I would like to wish my best to all the children of the world, specially to my 25 little students.

DO WE NEED TO RECYCLE?

We need to increase the amount of rubbish that is being recycled, because we cannot carry on burying and burning rubbish forever. Today's rubbish, compared to other years rubbish, contains more products that don't break down when they are put into the ground. Packaging waste makes up about a quarter of all of the rubbish you put into your bin. Most of this rubbish could be recycled.

There are a number of ways to reduce and recycle rubbish at home and school:
- Find ways of making recycled materials into useful items. Did you know that some jackets are made from recycled plastic bottles?
- Reuse plastic bags, collect bottles taps.
- Buy products which use less packaging.
- Educate people about recycling.

Festival de la Primavera

Knowing our neighborhood!

Here you have some pictures that show some of ours trips, the first visit was to the Police Station; all my children were so happy with the policewoman explanations. Later we took our lunchboxes in a beautiful park in Miraflores and finally we went to the Fire Station and as you see, my kids enjoyed learning about the firefighter´s job in our neighborhood.

My kids love dancing... sometimes when they are ready to go home, they like to show me how to dance... and i have learnt a lot!! =D

Last month my class prepared their own presentations to their classmates about "MY COUNTRY", as you can see, they did it in different ways, they made a wonderful job. I´m so lucky to have these kids! Enjoy these pictures!
